The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing individualised support for people with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS is the insurance that gives us all peace of mind. Disability could affect anyone and having the right support makes a big difference. BEST Community Connections are holding an Information Day on the 12th of April at our building in Vivian St. 

BEST Community Connections will be closed all day. A Staff Development Day will be taking place all day. This is to ensure all staff members can work efficiently within the BEST Community Connections workplace. 

Some of the clients at BEST Community Connections are taking part in a drama group called 'Skit Happens'. The guys will learn the how to perform, improvise and develop their skills in the spot light. The workshops will commence on the 14th of March 6.00pm - 7.00pm and continue every week until the grand final on the 27th of June. 

Some of the clients at BEST Community Connections have resumed their studies in their IT Course at TAFE.

Some of the guys at BEST Community Connections have begun their Fishing Competition. the Comp will go for 6 weeks and all prizes have been donated by Inverell Fishing and Hunting World. 

At BEST Community Connections we are stepping up our cooking programs. Maria is our new qualified chef. She will be helping the guys prepare meals and help develop their cooking skills. 

BEST Community Connection have clients who have entered themselves in a Lawn Bowls Competition. The guys will have a great time interacting within the community and improving their skills on the green. the Comp commences on the 27th on January and will continue every week. 

Another year at BEST Community Connections filled with various activities, enjoyment and learning for everyone.
