Respite
BEST Community Connections offers an after-hours and weekend respite for our clients at our locations in Sapphire Street, and Auburn Vale Road, in Inverell. The fully secured house has total wheelchair access and is fitted with everything needed for overnight stay.
Our facility includes:
An air conditioned lounge area containing a television fitted for use with DVD and Xbox 360.
A dining area suitable for eating meals or other activities.
A kitchen equipped with oven, fridge, sink and microwave giving the ability for individuals to prepare meals.
An easy access bathroom with stability support rails.
Three bedrooms, one of which includes an adjustable bed which can be used to accommodate the client’s needs.
A washing and laundry facility.
BEST Community Connections also offers a 2 bedroom unit available in King Street. This is a preferred environment for transition to independent living. The unit has easy and convenient CBD access.
